Hip hop producer -- and headphone mogul -- Dr. Dre tops Forbes magazine's list of The World’s 25 Highest-Paid Musicians for 2012. It doesn't hurt that he sold a Taiwanese electronics firm half of his Beats by Dre headphone company for $300-million!
He's the only American in the Top 5. The others are former Pink Floyd leader Roger Waters, thanks to the worldwide success of his The Wall tour; Elton John, U2 and the reformed British boy band Take That.
Bon Jovi is sixth, followed by Britney Spears, Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift tied for eight. Justin Bieber and country star Toby Keith share the 10th spot.
