Beck released some new songs last week, but its not an album or even a recording of his song.
Instead it's a book of sheet music of his new songs. Published by McSweeney's, the project is titled Beck Hansen’s Song Reader, and his fans are already putting their own stamp on the songs and posting video and audio at Beck's Website.
Beck's site, SongReader.net, is currently offering a free download of the sheet music for "Old Shanghai" for you to take a shot at covering.
