This may come as a shock to some, but not everyone will like you at work.
Sometimes, it might even be the boss that doesn't like you. While the boss might have his reasons for not liking you, it doesn't change the fact that it will be harder working with a boss who doesn't like you. How do you deal with the boss that doesn't like you?
Ideally, you will find some sort of common ground with your boss. Maybe he will realize that you aren't so bad after all and that maybe you got off on the wrong foot. It isn't uncommon at all for a boss to not get along with an employee right off the bat. Giving the boss some time to adjust you can do wonders. So the patient, and everything could work out the best in the end
Maybe your boss just doesn't think you can do a good enough job. It could be that you are just promoted, but the boss didn't think you are ready for the job quite yet. The best thing you can do right now is to just do the best job you can, so that you can have better relations in the future. It will do you no good to sulk about it for now
