Moon & Lola Designer, Kelly Shatat, always had an eye
for fashion. It only seemed natural that she turn her love of fashion and jewelry into a career. And that is what this Pharmacist-turned-jewelry designer did. Designing and creating jewelry was a pastime that Kelly stumbled into nearly five years ago. While waiting on a friend, she passed time in a shop selling gemstones and other jewels. Kelly purchased some of the stones and took them home to try her hand in making jewelry. It was then that her love affair
with designing and creating jewelry began. Two years and several necklaces and pairs of earrings later, Moon & Lola was born as femininity returned full force to the fashion scene.
The name, Moon & Lola, originated from the nicknames
Kelly and her best friend used while in college. Moon & Lola became a
household name with the debut of its signature and over-the-top girly pearl necklaces and ribbon ties. This feminine piece reflects the overall feel of the jewelry - polished, lady-like and oh-so-classic. Moon & Lola's latest designs capture all of those attributes and blend them with a touch of high fashion.

The John Rose Minnesota skating oval is open over in Roseville, and KMSP reporter M.A. Rosko was on the scene this morning to test it out with her face.
This naked, dancing man is like a grownup version of that weird baby on Ally McBeal — unsettling and mesmerizing at the same time. But there is more to why a computer-generated man dancing around to an upbeat synth soundtrack is so captivating. Naked, dancing man is the animated embodiment of personal fulfillment and freedom. He was created by graphic animator for the movie “Tron,” David Lewandowski. At first, working on “Tron” seemed like a dream job, but David found that it soon turned out to be soul sucking.
