I am the girl who has jumped off the deep end and fallen in love with fashion. I love prancing around town in an outfit that fits my body and personality. You can find me on the clearance racks of H&M and Express (two of my fav stores) and at your local thrift store. I love fashion but not breaking my pockets, so I’m always on the hunt for deals and steals!

I am a lover of all things fabulous and fashionable (but affordable). In my former life I was either a major diva or sensational drag queen. Not quite sure of which one, but my love of MAC make-up, accessories, music, hair and need to overly exaggerate has followed me to this life. I am a chameleon, so my style and hair is always changing to fit my multiple personalities. I am a reality/sitcom TV and celebrity gossip junkie as well.

Holiday Party Season is in full swing. Last night was
I have attended The Jingle Ball for four consecutive years and each year it gets better. I especially enjoyed this Jingle Ball because my ensemble was a “show stopper”. When us girls head out to holiday parties our first thought is, “Hmmmm what dress am I going to where?” I am all for sexy holiday dresses that sparkle and show off the curves, however this year I was inspired to do something different!
Ladies if you are looking for fashion inspiration head straight to Instagram. The Fashionistas, bloggers, and vloggers on this social network will keep you up to date on the latest trends and help you create new looks right out of your closet. I was inspired by a picture instagrammed by @fashionclimaxx2 . I loved the combination of the blazer, white dress shirt, green sequined shorts, black stockings, and black pumps. It was a clean, crisp, and sophisticated look.
I decided to add a little Janelle Monáe flavor to my look by keeping a black and white color scheme, accented by a red clutch, red lip, red nail, and similar Janelle hair style.
Blazer: My Closet, White Men’s Dress Shirt: Walmart, Black Shimmer Shorts: JcPenny, Black Lace-Up Pumps: Rack Room Shoes, Black Ultra Sheer Stockings: Walmart, Jewel and Gray Pearl Necklace: Franchesca’s, Red Coach Clutch: My Closet (Thanks Cousin Tawana!)
The only purchases I made to complete this look were the black shorts that were $13 and the black stockings that cost me $2 and some change. Everything else I pulled from my closet. What trends are inspiring you this holiday season? If you are creating any new and exciting looks this holiday season, I would love to hear from you!
