If you said 10 cents (I did), you'll be happy to know that most Harvard students answered the same! Hooray! You're as smart at someone who goes to Harvard Take pride in yourself for a few more seconds....
Ok, now I've got to tell you...it's the wrong answer. Here's the math:
If the ball costs 10 ¢, then the total cost will be $1.20 (10¢ for the ball and $1.10 for the bat), not $1.10. The correct answer is 5¢.
